A trio of young Chinese refugees (including Bruce Li) are rescued from a raft at the beginning of the film. They settle in Hong Kong and try to make a life for themselves. However, the forces of wrong work against their good natures and cause them to always be in battle in this plotless film.
Initially, the duo help out a young black man (Carl Scott) who is being beat up by some thugs who work for the boss. After that, the boss and his goons are constantly fighting our heroes every opportunity they get. The film tries to put some plot in by having Li compete in a martial arts competition. When he beats the competitor that the evil head honcho has entered into the contest, things gear up. A trio of killers are hired to finish off Li. Of course they don't succeed and the gangster must find way to annihilate Li that is a little closer to home.

Breakout From Oppression (1973)
Goodness, this film was boring! I am sure that part of the blame has to go to the horrible dubbing and the fullscreen presentation. Nevertheless, the story was stupid and tiresome.
After an unnecessary scene of our hero (Gordon Liu) beating up some soldiers, he ends up in a town where he sees some men running out of a house. When he enters the house, he is witness to a scene of a massacre. There are two dead young women and a man. Eventually an old blind lady comes out of hiding to falsely accuse Liu of being the murderer. He tells her that he is innocent and makes it a point to find out who did this heinous act.
We are then introduced to a labor boss who is in conflict with this employees. They are about to come to blows over money (I think) but the boss promises that all will be resolved in three days. Liu offers his services to the boss and ends up beating up the workers. He eventually recognizes them as the men he saw running from the house of the murder, but it seems that he is beating up for no other reason than the boss wants them silenced. It's really hard to figure out who is good and who is bad. In fact, it just seems like everyone is a baddie in this film, Liu included.

Odd Couple (1979)
Two old masters get together once a year to fight each other to see who is the best. There is The King Of The Sword (Sammo Hung) and The King Of The Spear (Chia Yung Liu), each an expert in his weapon of choice. The only problem is that they are both so good at what they do, that they always end up in a draw with neither one winning. The duo decide that they will each train a student in the martial arts and have those two fight each other to determine the victor. Naturally, the two students are the same actors without the old-age make-up. These pupils train hard for a year and are ready to fight when the time comes. Unfortunately, an old rival (Kar Yan Leung) of the two old men shows up and decides to get his revenge on them for the harm they caused him in the past.

The Man From Hong Kong (1975)
Exciting, action-packed film from Ozploitation director Brian Trenchard-Smith starts off with a beautifully shot kung-fu fight on top of the famous Australian landmark, Ayres Rock. A Chinese courier (Sammo Hung) has been caught in a drug deal and is taken in by the Australian police (which includes Hugh Keays-Byrne from Mad Max). Special Agent Inspector Feng (Jimmy Wang Yu) is brought over from Hong Kong to find out any information that the courier may have about who is supplying the drugs. Seems the big man is Jack Wilton (George Lazenby), who has an army of martial artists in his employ which makes him a hard man to get. However, after lots of violent and destructive fight scenes and impressive stunts, Feng does get his man.

Sister Street Fighter: Hanging By A Thread (1974)
This is the first sequel to Sister Street Fighter. Again, our Chinese heroine must travel to Japan to find a missing person. This time it is the daughter of a friend. The baddie this time is a diamond smuggler who imports his merchandise in the buttocks of beautiful women and then prostitutes them. Fairly perverse stuff that includes a she-male, although I am not sure if he is supposed to be a she or not.

Sister Street Fighter (1974)
Translated from the original Japanese, the title would really be "Lady Killing Fist". The title Sister Street Fighter is just to cash in on the successful Sonny Chiba film The Street Fighter and is not a sequel or connected in any way.
Our heroine (Etsuko Shihomi) travels to Japan to find out what happened to her brother who seems to be missing. He was investigating a drug kingpin at the time of his disappearance. She eventually teams up with Chiba through the Karate school where her brother was training, and together they battle the drug lord who has an army of Martial Arts specialists.
